There are deeply divided rose petals which give the plant the ragged appearance.

Particularly suits moist or moisture retentive land. Looks particularly good growing amongst grass in a meadow.

Sown from seed packets.

Sow in March/April or August/September

Sow into a weed free seedbed, to help spread the seed mix with weed free dry sand. Lightly rake over and firm the ground afterwards. Water if dry weather.
